This Harlequin (or Jester) Lamp is by the the Marbro Lamp Company, circa 1968. The design of this sculpture is based on the 1879 bronze sculpture by St. Marceaux, which is inscribed on the base. This lamp was produced in 2 sizes, this is the largest and more rare size they made – It’s truly a monumental piece and a great way to further accent a Mid Century furnished estate. The plaster Harlequin and base is heavily detailed and painted. This lamp is very sturdy and heavy, you may find minor wear and small cracks, although it’s all structurally sound. The lamp does not come with its original shade, although we’ll be including the one shown in the photos. The shade is not new and shows some age and discoloration, but it’s in good shade.
