A timeless and sought after style for Modernist Furnishing Collectors! Krueger Metal Products practically dominated the industry during the mid 20th century for Neo-industrial and organic design pieces. This particular style chair was crafted by Kruger during the early to mid 1950’s, which came out of their Green Bay, Wisconsin plant. The Green Bay plant was often noted as “the start of it all” in the Krueger company timeline. At this time, the company employed 50 craftsmen and designers and were soon to expand to Missisippi as a million dollar company. Each chair is a solid fiberglass mold, often refereed to as a “shell chair”. Each chair rotates 360 degrees, and stands of a fixed base with adjustable feet. The chairs include their original bottom cushion, in almost a sea foam shade. Each chair will show mild scuffs and surface scratches, although the white fiberglass is so contrasty, it’s rather hard to point out – Even photographing it was difficult. The underside of each chair is marked “Krueger Metal Products , Green Bay Wis”
