This rug is identified as Design 788 “Ivory Kirman”; The Kirman series rugs by Karastan are one of the more sought after styles, the ivory colorway being one of the less commonly seen Kirmans available. This rug was from a socialites estate in Dallas, Pennsylvania, the estate featured all Karastan rugs. The rugs from the estate were all kept very clean, smoke-free and pet free, we’ve also cleaned the rugs, and have them stored in a climate controlled environment. The rugs colors are vibrant, with an exceptional wool pile – Very soft to the touch. You will find a split in the rug on one of the ends as shown in our photo gallery.
