As exceptional as it gets for Eastlake Victorian! Throughout the years, we obtain many Marble Top Eastlake pieces, never have we obtained this eye-catching before! This Dresser is hand crafted of solid walnut, with carved accents throughout. For starters, the mirror features its original glass. The glass is in good shape, considering its age, although you will find slight silver-loss and smokiness on the bottom near the frame (shown in photos). The top of the mirrors frame shows a heavily detailed carved Jesters face along with burl accents. The sides of the mirrors frame also features 2 candle platforms and 2 accessory drawers which are fixed to the mirror. The carrara marble top is original and has a beveled edge going around. You’ll notice slight discoloration to the marble which is natural for a stone of this age, along with stains and a small chip on the left corner. This piece features 3 stacked drawers, all of which open and close as they should and are complimented by drastic burl fronts and carved accenting. As this piece is over 100 years old, you will find expected wear which includes surface scratches, minor chips and finish blems. A missing turned wood accent is missing on the left hand side of the mirrors frame, a replacement would have to be added, or remove the other side to match.
