It stands sturdy, and is extremely well-made, showing notes of 19th century wood working and hand dovetail drawer sides. The large square mirror is the original beveled glass, and does not have any cracks or chips. The dresser is in amazing shape, and was professionally refinished at some point in the pieces life, you will find minor surface scratches and blems to the finish. Each drawer opens and closes as it should and is embellished with highly detailed brass pulls.
