Rich in detail with a sophisticated look – This Late 19th Century American Empire Chest of Drawers displays a drastic burl walnut grain throughout. The veneer is in outstanding condition, considering its age. It’s tall and bold features adds absolute contrast in any room it’s displayed in. This dresser offers storage at its best with four large stacked drawers, accompanied by four small accessory drawers above. All drawers open and close as they should and are exceptionally clean inside. The finish to the dresser is rich, but is not original, it was professionally refinished at some point in its life. The large top mirror freely pivots, and can be removed if desired, it features the original beveled glass. Overall, this piece is in great condition, mild wear from age is to be expected include surface scratches, minor chips and finish blems.
