A one of a kind specialty piece created by Sergio Bustamante. This 1970’s gem came out of a collectors estate of Aztec & Mexican artwork. This piece most likely came out of Bustamantes studio in Mexico. There’s only a select few Bustamante Ducks that live up to the quality of this one. The rich hand painted details along with the vibrant colors of this piece makes it an absolute favorite. This duck is sculpted of papier mache and finished with a clear lacquer. The gold foiled accenting along the back leads you to a planter area, although it was not used with live plants previously. Sergio Bustamante’s signature could be seen on the side of the neck of the duck. This piece is in really nice condition with mild wear as shown.
