Vintage Victorian Black Cast Iron Architectural Ornate Mail Box

This 1970’s Cast Iron Mail Box is nicely aged with a mild patina finish. Many try to pass these mail boxes as Early 20th Century, they truly fool the eye! The quality this Mailbox shows is very nice, its heavy and extremely well made. This box, which was probably refereed to as “Cast no. 2”, includes an incoming mail latch, along with a larger retrieving latch, which could be locked. You’ll enjoy de-bossed floral motifs throughout the mailbox, along with traditional lettering.
