MJ Whittall is said to be the finest Anglo Persian Rug available, circa 1930’s. The “Birds of Paradise” design is undoubtedly the most popular and sought after by Whittall. The small 2×3 size makes this rug a perfect entry way statement, or nice for a bedroom suite. Whittall rugs are known for it’s low wool pile, which makes their rugs exceptionally easy to maintain. This rug came out of a pet-free estate and does not have any odor. A small area of moth damage is circled in our photo gallery, the rug was very well maintained. The colors of the rug are vibrant and eye catching. There aren’t any rips or tears in the rug, you will find staining on the backside of the rug, which doesn’t translate to the face.
