Antique Gothic Victorian Carved Mahogany Tufted Settee Sofa with Winged Griffins

This Early 20th Century Settee is a great conversation piece and has nice bones. It’s completely crafted of mahogany with a drastic veneered finish. The large Griffin side carvings are absolutely stunning. The settee is structurally sound and and comfortably seats three. You will find wear throughout including chipped areas of veneer on the sides, this will either have to be repaired or filled in. The upholstery is a olive shade suede which shows major discoloration with missing and loose buttons. There’s no holes or rips in the upholstery, although we’d recommend having the piece reupholstered. The paw feet are drastic and in good condition, none are loose. The finished back is in good condition from not being exposed throughout the years. This would make a great project piece!
