This Pair of Mid to Late 20th Century Foo Dog Statues are crafted of solid resin and are exceptionally heavy. This particular Pair shows stunning details and is finished in a deep red lacquer. One Foo Dog is shown with it’s mouth open, while the other one guards shut. This pair was made in China as an export item for the American and European Market, most likely a 1980’s set. You will notice one of the Foo Dogs has a chip on the end of its tail, aside from that both pieces show mild surface scratches and look great on display.
