This Pair of French Empire Fireplace Andirons were crafted during the Early 20th Century. This pair shows exceptional details throughout in solid cast brass. Each Andiron is heavy in weight and very well made. The back leg supports which would have screwed into the back of each, are missing. Because of the overall design, each Andirons stands on its own, without the supports. The large base, accompanied by paw feet balances each Andiron nicely. Each showing a deep aged finish with mild patina shown. This set is uncleaned or polished
