Antique Primitive Enterprise #2 Cast Iron Double Wheel Table Top Coffee Grinder

This Coffee Grinder was crafted by Enterprise Philadelphia during the 19th Century. Enterprise Coffee Grinders are sought after by collectors worldwide, they could be found in a plethora of sizes and styles. This Grinder is best known as #2, the most popular “table top” size. This piece would make a stunning coffee bar accent, or display piece in a bakery, coffee shop or restaurant. This piece has been expertly refurbished at some point in its life, although it was not done recently. The painted black cast iron contrasts nicely off the deep red wheel motif. The hopper is very clean and includes the original hopper cover. Judging by its condition, this piece was absolutely babied and was not heavily used. Inside, the mechanics work as they should, the gears turn nicely. You’ll notice mild surface rust on a small portion of the gears, what’s pictured is the worst of it. The original wood wheel handle is in tact and shows a split down the middle, there is no loose parts of wood. This Enterprise Grinder is fully completely, sturdy and ready to enjoy!
