This Victorian Fireplace Mantle was crafted during the Late 19th Century. This Mantle is monumental, it would compliment almost any antique interior style – Or add the sophisticated look of aged oak into your new construction home. The quartersawn oak grain is drastic and compliments the double barley twist scrolls guarding each side of the mantle. Throughout the mantle, you’ll enjoy an array of hand carved motifs. This mantle was professionally refinished at some point in the pieces life. To make this mantle fit into its previous estates fireplace, Two pieces of oak measuring 4 inches wide were added on each side, these could be removed or added to. The Fireplace opening measures 41.5 wide x 38.5 tall. This mantle is in really nice condition, mild wear is shown throughout including surface scratches, minor chips and finish blemishes.
