Compliment your estate with this Pair of Victorian Barley Twist Parlor Chairs from the Late 19th Century. Each chair is absolutely stunning and is crafted of solid oak with a quartersawn grain throughout. The backrests shows a timeless Victorian Motif along with Barley Twist scroll accenting on each side. The seats include the original horse hair fill and springs, all springs are intact and has wonderful support. The bottoms of each chairs have be refurbished with newer wood to hold the insides in place for its longevity. The Neelepoint seats shows a lovely floral setting, this most likely isn’t the original neelepoint, although it’s early 20th century. Each chair stands on its original antique caster wheels, all of which roll smoothly. This set is exceptionally sturdy and very well made, you will find mild expected wear including surface scratches and minor chips.
