An American Empire Library Table from the Early 20th Century. This piece was expertly crafted of solid oak with a drastic quartersawn grain shown throughout. The oval top is stunning and includes a single drawer below. The drawer opens and closes as it should and shows early American craftsmanship. All sides of the table are finished, although only 1 side has a drawer. The two pillars below are drastic and carved throughout, this supports the large oval top nicely – No wobble or shaking. The large base of the table is styled and includes 4 matching feet. This table was professionally refinished at some point in its life, although it was not done recently. Mild wear is shown and includes surface scratches and finish blemishes – Overall, this table is in very nice condition.
