A wonderful Pair of elegant Art Deco Club Chairs from France, circa 1930s. The overall timeless design is accompanied by a modern reupholstered textile which truly adds a touch of Regency. The textile used is premium, it is not in perfect condition although it’s in good condition. The sculpted arms are stunning, the design of them flows into the base of the chair nicely – A comfortable yet appealing pair. The walnut grain shown throughout is drastic, it’s finished in a high gloss piano lacquer which truly enhances the grain nicely. Each chair is very heavy and exceptionally well made, either chair does not wobble and offers great back support. Overall, this pair is in very nice condition with mild expected wear from age. Wear includes surface scratches, minor chips and finish blemishes.
