A 30-Drawer Walnut Card Catalog Library Cabinet, expertly crafted – c.1970. Each 5″ wide drawer opens and closes as they should; They’re embellished with a brushed metal deco finger pull name holder. The inside of each drawer is clean, unfortunately the adjusting rod is missing from every drawer which causes the front knobs to wiggle. The piece is exceptionally heavy and very well made. The piece is finished in a drastic walnut veneer. The finish is rich in age, each drawer fronts show a fair amount of patina and surface scratches. The cabinet includes two pull out writing surfaces which extend out to the entire depth of the piece. Some drawer fronts have been repaired throughout the years, this piece was obtained from a school out of New Jersey and was very well used. The top of the piece is not fixed to the cabinet, it appears to have been glued on at some point. Overall, this piece is in nice condition with mild wear shown throughout.
