An 18-Drawer Quartersawn Oak File Cabinet crafted by Library Bureau SoleMakers, United States, c.1900’s. This piece would look exceptional in an array of home office interiors. The solid oak shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout, the rays are stunning and it practically glows in natural lighting. This piece was refinished at some point in its life, very well done. This cabinet features 5 different sized drawers, each drawer width is listed below. Each drawer opens and closes as they should and are embellished with copper name plates, pulls and knob covers. The small bottom knobs on each drawer are missing, as well as the rods in the drawers interior. Some drawers are missing the interior backstops, although the majority of the drawers include them. This piece is exceptionally heavy and breaks down into 7 different sections (barrister style).
