A Venetian Blackamoor Porcelain Statue, Italy, c.1939. This Blackamoor Statue is a lovely size, it’s large enough to display from the floor, yet quaint in size to showcase on a pedestal or table top. The porcelain is lacquered throughout, showing deep shades and vivid details. Two repairs are shown in the neck or the male and in the floral sconce he’s holding. These repaired areas are not loose and were well-done. The piece was signed “Italy 1939” on the underside, it’s since worn off – Likely after cleaning.
