A Leather Sculpted Tiger Statue, India, c.1970. This piece would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The solid body of the tiger is finished in an aged leather. The leather shows a rich finish, showing mild distress and hand painted details throughout. The Tiger has glass eyes and is shown with its mouth open, displaying 4 sharp teeth. The statue stands upright on its own and does not easily tip. The underside of the piece is unmarked or signed.
