An Art Deco Walnut Inlaid Side Table with Bottom Magazine Rack, United Stages, c.1940. This Table would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The overall design of this Table is unique, its a great conversation piece. The top shows a stunning burl veneer, accompanied by an inlaid motif. The curved legs adds great lines, the bottom shows dovetailing which connect each leg to the foot. Beneath the table, you’ll enjoy a book of magazine holder – Very unique for this period. The underside of the table is unmarked or signed.

Condition:

This Table was exceptionally well made. Mild wear is shown to the finish, which includes surface scratches, minor chips and blemishes. The table shows mild play in the dovetailed legs, this is the nature of its construction. While the table is sturdy enough to use daily, it shows slight wobble, which has to be noted. It appears there was a cove on the inside of the legs near the dovetail which is since removed
