A Boho Chic Rattan Coat Rack Hall Tree by Rosenthal Netter, Italy, c.1960. This piece would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. Rosenthal Netter was best known for their unusual Art Pottery pieces, all crafted in Italy. We were both surprised and pleased to find this piece was marked Rosenthal Netter on the underside. The solid Rattan shows a stunning natural grain with a clean lacquered finish. The top area shows bent rattan motifs, hanging hooks and rattan loops which would accommodate hats. The four flared legs balances the piece nicely, it stands very sturdy.
Condition:
This piece was exceptionally well made, it’s both solid and sturdy. Mild wear is shown to the finish and includes surface scratches, minor chips and blemishes. The middle of the top bent motif has canning wrapped around, this area is loosened from age, although this is for show only – It does not hold the area together.
