Mid-Century Modern Atomic Chromcraft Sculpta Round Table & 4 Chairs – A Set

A Chromcraft Sculpta Round Table with 4 Chairs designed by Vladimir Kagan, United States, c.1960. This Kitchen Set would look exceptional while on display in an array of Mid-Century inspired interiors. These chairs were most notably associated with its use on two episodes of Star-Trek, seen in its original tuffed black vinyl. The chairs were professionally reupholstered in a marine grade vinyl, it’s both very high quality and durable. The tuffed backed to each chair was removed, it shows a unique look to an overall iconic design. The swivel “V” base legs to each chair is exceptionally heavy, each swivels as it should. The round table shows a laminated veneer top and does not expand to accept leave. The underside of two of the chairs includes the original Chromecraft label.

Condition:

This set is in very nice condition. Mild scuffs and discoloration could be seen on the white vinyl, although we’d say each chair is in overall good condition. Both the table and set of four chairs are all solid and sturdy.
