An Arts & Crafts Quartersawn Oak Bookcase Cabinet, Untied States, c.1920. This Bookcase would look exceptional while on display in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout, accompanied by a deep finish. The Cabinet shows an upper grid motif which looks great from all angles, it’s unique. Each glass door opens and closes as it should and includes a push latch brass pull. The inside of the piece includes 3 removable oak shelves. Each shelf offers a tremendous amount of storage space, all of which are sturdy and would support a generous amount of weight. While the shelves sit flat, one of the shelf’s shows a slight warp – It’s not easily noticed from the outside and does not wobble. The cabinet stands on 4 original wood caster wheels, these are removable to your desire. The piece is unmarked or signed.
