An Orange Vinyl Flip Top Ottoman Sewing Basket by Burlington, Untied States, c. Mid 20th Century. This piece would look exceptional displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Burlington Basket Company released a series this Sewing Box under their Hawkeye Collection. The burnt orange vinyl makes for a perfect contrasting piece, it’s stunning. The Basket stands on four styled legs which are very sturdy, they’re made of a heavier molded plastic, made to mimic teak. The flip top opens and closes as it should and includes a nice amount of storage within. The inside of the top shows its original needlepoint upholstery, which has a large storage pouch. This piece is marked Burlington Basket Company.

Condition:

This piece was exceptionally well made, its solid and sturdy. Mild surface blemishes and discoloration are shown from age.
