Mid-Century Modern Atomic Sculpted Wood V-Base End Table

An Atomic Sculpted Wood End Table, United States, c.1967. This Table would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The solid wood shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep original finish. The oval top compliments the V-Shaped leg base perfectly. Despite the tables unusual stance and proportions, it stands very sturdy without any wobble. The front of the V Base shows dowel construction and offers great support, it would hold a generous amount of weight. The underside is signed J. Stemmle 1967 Colonia, NJ.

Condition:

This Table was exceptionally well made, its solid and sturdy. Mild surface scratches and finish blemishes could be seen from age. A split in the wood is shown on the front of the V base, this area is circled in our photo gallery. This split doesn’t compromise the tables support.
