Mid-Century Modern Thonet Bentwood Sculpted Dining Chairs – Set of 6

A Set of 6 Bentwood Sculpted Dining Chairs by Thonet, United States, c.1960. This Set of Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Chair is crafted of solid Beech Wood with a drastic grain shown throughout, accompanied by its original finish. The slight “scooped” seat bottom followed by the iconic bentwood legs adds character. Each chair offers great support and shows a mild curved backrest. The underside of each chair is marked Thonet.

Condition:

This Set of Chairs was exceptionally well made, each being solid and sturdy without any wobble. Surface scratches and finish blemishes are shown. One chair shows more aggressive blemishes to the seat top which is shown in our photo gallery to reference. Mild scuffs are shown to each of the chairs legs from use.
