A Set of 4 Heywood Wakefield Dog Bone Dining Chairs with Cowhide Seats, United States, c.1950. This Set of Chairs would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Each Chair is crafted of solid birch wood which displays the original champagne finish. The Set was professionally reupholstered during the 1980’s using authentic Cowhide, it offers a stunning contrast and caters to most Mid-Century styles. The iconic “Dog Bone” backrest of each chair shows great character. The underside of each chair shows the Heywood Wakefield mark.

Condition:

This Set of Chairs were exceptionally well made, each are solid and sturdy without any wobble. Mild wear to the finish is shown, this includes surface scratches and blemishes, mostly seen along the bottom of the legs from previous use. There aren’t any holes in the Cowhide seats.
