An Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Hallway Coat Rack Umbrella Stand, United States, c.1920. This Coat Rack would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout accompanied by a deep aged finish. The pointed top is complimented by a series of brass hanging hooks around. Each hook is perfect for coats, jackets, head ware, and scarfs. The body of the stand includes 4 sectioned areas for umbrella (or cane) storage. The bottom of this area is tin lined to avoid moisture from an umbrella. The tin is heavily aged and shows years of indention’s from the tops of umbrellas hitting the surface – So much character. The underside of this piece is unmarked or signed.
