A Victorian Lacquered Rattan Leather Panel Magazine Holder, c.1970. This Magazine Holder would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The natural bamboo rattan is finished in a high glossed lacquer. The lacquer shows deep hues of orange and brown, adding an exotic flare to an overall traditional design. The front and back of the Magazine Holder includes a styled leather panel, each panel shows a stunning gold medallion center. The end of each rattan shoot is finished with a brass cap, along with natural cane seams where each shoot meets. The underside of this piece is unsigned or marked.
