A Pine Dome Top Storage Chest with Metal Strapping, United States, c. Early 20th Century. This Quaint Sized Chest would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid pine shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a satin finish. The strapping and latches on the chest were refinished in black, but shows age and character. The latch to the chest does not shut, the lock is gutted – The chest remains unlocked to use. The interior of the piece is clean and includes a wood insert. The underside of the piece is unmarked or signed.
