A Victorian Walnut Barley Twist Grapevine Motif Pedestal, United States, c. Mid 20th Century. This Pedestal would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid walnut shows a deep finish throughout, it’s rich in age. The 10″ round top would accommodate a planter, jardiniere, urn or vase. The twisted body of the pedestal displays a heavily detailed carved grapevine motif throughout. The Pedestal stands on detailed cabriole legs. The underside is unmarked or signed.
