A Victorian Oak Round Umbrella Holder with Copper Insert, United States, c. Late 19th Century. This Umbrella Stand would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. It makes for the perfect entryway accent. The solid oak shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. The bent oak rim and base is connected with elongated oak rods, which adds a sculpted look from all angles. The original copper insert is shown along the middle, essentially where wet umbrellas or cane sit. The copper is nicely aged and shows a lovely traditional repousse motif. The underside is unmarked or signed.
