A Victorian Cast Iron Grape Vine Motif Table Mirror, United States, c. Early/Mid 20th Century. This Table Mirror would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid iron shows stunning cast details throughout, the entire frame and base is made up of a continuous grape vine with foliage. The mirror is very heavy and crafted well. The backside and underside is unmarked or signed.
Condition:
This Cast Iron Table Mirror was exceptionally well made. Areas of wear and surface rust to the iron is shown from age. The mirror is free or cracks or chips, although a light haze can be seen, this is the original glass. The glass is well-fixed to the frame without any movement. A flat head screw along the back of the frame was replaced with a modern stainless screw.
