A Renaissance Revival Heavily Carved Mahogany Octagon Side Table, c. Late 19th Century. This Occasional Table would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid Mahogany shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. The table is heavily carved on all areas which shows traditional accents, foliage motifs and a unique hand painted panel top. The octagon shaped top shows 5 hand painted landscape motifs, each painting is very well preserved for its age upon a table top, but fading is shown to each. The table stands on 3 styled cabriole legs with carved paw bottoms. The underside of the Table is unmarked or signed.
