A Pair of Atomic Sculpted Chalkware Conga Dancer Table Lamps, c.1955. This Pair of Table Lamps would look exceptional while staged in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The body of each lamp is crafted of solid chalkware, each shows a male and female conga dancer. The pair is finished in a vibrant turquoise lacquer with a speckled overlay – The colors contrast perfectly. The original 2-Tier fiberglass shades are shown in a matching turquoise, followed by a natural tan. Diamond shaped brass ormolu are mounted around each shade. The pair includes matching brass finials and shade harps. The backside of each lamp is marked Universal Statuary Corp 1955.
