An Atomic Gilded Brass Cast Metal Sunburst Wall Clock, Germany, c.1960. This Sunburst Clock would look exceptional while hung in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The cast metal casing of the clock is both drastic in design and heavy. While it’s not cast brass, it looks and is weighted like brass. The face of the clock includes a bubble glass protective cover, which is hinged. The gold roman numerals contrasts perfectly off the clocks ivory face. Both hands are ornate, offering a drastic appearance. An area is shown along the bottom of the face to wind the clock with a key, which is not included. You can manually wind the clock by its hands, while you’ll hear the movement in action, you will not get movement from the hands. With this said, it’s being sold not working and as a decorative accent. The backside of the clock is marked Germany.
