Antique Art Deco Cast Iron Peacock Motif Table TV Lamp

An Art Deco Cast Iron Peacock Motif TV Lamp, United States, c.1930. This TV Lamp would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The cast iron shows sensational details and motifs throughout, featuring a predominate peacock along side of a perforated tree. Separating both objects is a metal sheet with a sunrise gradient. The overall design of the lamp is nicely sculpted, it looks great while displayed on any piece of furniture. The cast iron shows its original green tone lacquer with accented gold. The single light socket is shown behind the tree, we’ve added a red LED bulb which creates a soft red glow – Any modern LED bulb would accommodate nicely. The lamp was rewired using a retro style brown nylon cord, it’s fully tested and works as it should. A toggle switch has been added to the front of the lamp, while this isn’t original, it was added during the Mid 20th Century, it’s a nice feature. The backside of the Lamp is marked A.W Reiser Ohio.
