A Mid-Century Avocado Green Storage Ottoman Stand by Burlington, Untied States, c. Mid 20th Century. This piece would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. Burlington Basket Company released a series of Sewing Basket Ottomans under their Hawkeye Collection. The collection featured a color palette of popular vinyl shades during the Atomic Era. The Avocado Green vinyl offers perfect contrast while staging, it’s quite stunning. The vinyl features a textured pressed stitched motif followed by an original gold lining. The Ottoman stands on four styled legs which are very sturdy, they’re made of a heavy molded plastic, made to mimic walnut. The flip top opens and closes as it should and includes the original matching green shelf insert. This piece is marked Burlington Basket Company.
