Each Horse shows exceptional details, completely hand carved of a solid piece of walnut. The Pair is shown in a mirrored Rearing position with the front legs elevated. The wood shows a stunning grain and is finished in an original semi transparent black lacquer. Despite its unusual proportions, each horse stands sturdy without any wobble.The underside of each sculpture is unmarked or signed.
