An Arts & Crafts Quartersawn Oak Library Table Desk, United States, c.1920. This Oak Library Table would look exceptional while displayed in an array of office styles. The solid oak shows a drastic quartersawn grain throughout, accompanied by a deep satin finish. Each side of the Library Table includes a drop down shelf for book storage, the face of this area displays a lovely pierced motif. The single drawer opens and closes as it should, it shows early dovetail construction. The backside of the piece is finished, it could be used “executives style” or facing the wall. This piece is unsigned or marked.
