A Walnut 9-Drawer Lowboy Dresser Designed by Merton Gershun for Dillingham, United States, c.1960. This Lowboy Dresser would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. This piece was designed Merton Gershun for Dillingham’s “Esprit” collection; This collection featured natural oiled walnut pieces with a timeless ebony motif. The chest includes a plinth base, which adds an elevated appearance while staged. The walnut shows a drastic grain throughout, accompanied by a satin finish. This finish compliments many designer pieces from the Mid 20th Century. Each of the nine drawers open and close as they should with a flattened streamlined design. Each drawer is separated by an original ebony trim, which offers perfect contrast. The interior of each drawer is clean, the top drawer includes the original Dillingham linen label and hang tag.
