A Bentwood Writing Desk Table by Thonet, United States, c. Mid 20th Century. This Writing Desk would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The rectangle laminated top offers a spacious writing surface, accompanied by a single storage drawer which is nicely recessed along the front. The drawer opens and closes as it should and is embellished with a contrasting brushed steel pull. The sides and back are finished in a beech wood veneer. The beech wood ply legs are nicely sculpted, showing Thonet’s timeless bentwood process. The legs of the table will be removed during transport. The inside drawer shows the original Thonet label.
