A Pair of Traditional Cast Pewter Native American Indian End of the Trail Bookends, c. Early 20th Century. This Pair of Bookends would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. Each Bookend is crafted of cast pewter, it’s nicely aged and shows a fair amount of tarnishing and patina to the finish. The pair would support a generous stack of books, both large or small. Each Bookend shows the iconic “End of the Trail” motif, which depicts a Horse and Scout – Head down – Coming to the end of the trail. The back and underside of the Pair is unsigned or marked.
