A Traditional Oak Tobacco Pipe Holder with Cedar Lined Humidor, c.1940. This Table Top Humidor Pipe Holder would look exceptional while displayed upon a library desk, shelf top or occasional table. The solid oak holder includes 6 slots to display estate pipes of many styles. The pipes shown in the photos are for staging purposes only and are not included. The humidors hinged top opens and closes as it should and leads you to a cedar lined tobacco storage area. The underside of the top has an area to add a clay humidity stone, the stone is missing from this humidor. The underside of the piece is unsigned or marked.
Condition:
This Pipe Display Humidor was exceptionally well made. Mild surface scratches to the finish can be seen from age. The hinges upon the humidors top have been replaced with modernized brass hinges for longevity.
