Vintage Victorian Cast Iron Ottoman Footstool Bench w/ Lion’s Head Motif

A Victorian Cast Iron Footstool Ottoman Bench, c. Mid 20th Century. This Ottoman would look exceptional while displayed in an array of interior styles. The solid cast iron is quite heavy and is finish in an original gold lacquer. The top surface was professionally reupholstered in a pebbled vinyl. This vinyl is both high quality and very durable with the look and feel the leather. The black top offers sensational contrast while paired with the gold lacquer of the base. The base is quite ornate, displaying traditional details amongst a Lion’s Head center motif. The underside of the Stool is unsigned or marked.
