A Pair of Atomic 2-Tier End Tables by Viko Baumritter, c.1960. This Pair of End Tables would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. “Viko” by Baumritter was marketed as “Carefree Modern Furniture”, this often showcased Viko’s “Vikowood” – A laminated metal composite which looked like wood. Each of the Tables metal frame is quite heavy, the “Vikowood” laminated tops show a drastic grain with a medium walnut tone – This shade pairs nicely with many Mid-Century designer pieces. The top of each Table shows a black bow tie motif along the front quarter this offers nice contrast. The sculpted legs adds a timeless flare to the overall design with a unique appearance from all angles. The underside of each Table is marked Viko by Baumritter.
