A Mid-Century Porcelain Black Cat TV Lamp by Leland Claes, c.1954. This Lamp would look exceptional while displayed in a Mid-Century inspired interior. The porcelain shows a sensational glaze accompanied by a contrasting black. The “double cat” design was one of Leland’s most sough after styles, seldom seen in black. The cats perforated eyes offers a soft glow while the light is illuminated. The bottom side of the piece is marked Claes c.1954.
