An Art Deco Italian Green Onyx Fountain Pen Holder Desk Set, c. Mid 20th Century. This Desk Set would look exceptional while staged in an array of Library & Office styles. The solid onyx shows a saturated green hue with a sensational marble grain. The stones natural charm creates perfect contrast while staged. Each side of the piece includes 2 pivoting pen holders, these holders fit most fountain pens and designer calligraphy ink pens. Between the Pen holders is an accessory storage box with a brass hinged top. Originally a shallow glass inkwell would have been present, this is not included. A matching ink blotter comes with the desk set. The underside is unsigned or marked.
